Scientific Production

Incentive and investment to research and scientific production are the strong mark of Mater Dei. To prove that, its Ethical Committee in Research has approved 173 projects to research new treatments since 1998.The Study Center also allows the professional growth of its physician team, through scientific activities developed all over the year in the Convention Center of the hospital that holds six auditoriums with 600 seats each. In 2005, there were 3,622 scientific events. Mater Dei also keeps several terminals with free access to the best virtual libraries in the world at disposal of any member of the Hospital.
